How many foreigners visited Ukraine in 2024?


According to official statistics provided by the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine at the request of Visit Ukraine, 2,541,883 foreigners crossed the border of Ukraine in 2024.


The largest number of arrivals came from the following countries:


1. Moldova - 1,128,486 people;

2. Romania - 423,256 people;

3. Poland - 219,336 people;

4. Hungary - 127,472 people;

5. Israel - 73,703 people;

6. Slovakia - 67,339 people;

7. USA - 52,012 people;

8. Germany - 49,217 people;

9. Turkey - 47,240 people;

10. United Kingdom - 32,624 people.

From which unexpected parts of the world did foreigners come to Ukraine in 2024?


1. Israel - 73,703 people;

2. India - 7,434 people;

3. Philippines - 7,265 people;

4. China - 6,967 people;

5. Colombia - 3,268 people;

6. Australia - 1,623 people;

7. Indonesia - 1,496 people;

8. Japan - 1,432 people;

9. Brazil - 1,354 people;

10. Vietnam - 1,254 people;

11. Lebanon - 1,152 people;

12. Myanmar (Burma) - 1,112 people;

13. South Korea - 901 people;

14. Iraq - 732 people;

15. Sri Lanka - 705 people;

16. Jordan - 662 people;

17. Nigeria - 652 people;

18. Albania - 648 people;

19. Cyprus - 538 people;

20. Pakistan - 536 people;

21. Bosnia and Herzegovina - 514 people;

In addition to the main list, in 2024, Ukraine was also visited by foreigners from quite exotic and distant countries. Thus, 125 people came from Ghana, 80 from Cuba, 97 from Laos, and 67 from Malaysia. Malta had 198 visitors, Nepal 172, Cameroon 182, and Kenya 218. From South Africa, 247 people came to Ukraine, from Peru - 230, and even from remote South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands - 53.


Equally unexpected is the presence of guests from the Republic of the Congo (44 people), Sudan (189), Thailand (106), Tunisia (239), Uganda (51), Uruguay (53), Fiji (55) and Chile (239). These figures confirm that, despite the war, Ukraine continues to be a point of attraction for people from all over the world.
