Forbes publishes a ranking of billionaires: six Ukrainians are among them

The updated Forbes-2025 ranking of the world's richest people includes six Ukrainians. Find out who is on the list, how much money Ukrainian billionaires have, and what the global economic elite looks like this year
Forbes has published its annual ranking of the world's billionaires for 2025, which has become a record number of participants - the list includes 3,028 people with a combined fortune of $16.1 trillion. This is the highest figure in the history of the ranking, which has been conducted since 1987.
This year's publication has become a mirror of global financial and business trends. The richest five billionaires are represented by iconic figures from the world of technology and industry:
Elon Musk, the founder and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, topped the list with a fortune of $342 billion (+75% over the year),
Mark Zuckerberg - $216 billion, thanks to the success of Meta and the development of the meta-universe,
Jeff Bezos - $215 billion, founder of Amazon,
Larry Ellison - $192 billion, founder of Oracle,
Bernard Arnault and his family - $178 billion, head of the LVMH luxury empire.
Newcomers to the list: celebrities and innovators
In 2025, 288 new billionaires joined the ranking, including
- legendary rock musician Bruce Springsteen
- actor and former California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger,
- Alphabet/Google CEO Sundar Pichai,
- Alexander Wang, co-founder of Scale AI,
- Chipotle founder Steve Ells.
These new names emphasize the diversity of paths to financial success, from technology to creativity.

Geography of billionaires
The largest number of billionaires live in the United States - 902 people, accounting for $6.75 trillion. This is followed by China (450 billionaires) and India (205). At the same time, 107 people dropped out of the ranking due to financial losses, and another 32 died.
Ukrainians on the Forbes list
Despite the war, economic turbulence, and other challenges, six Ukrainians managed to preserve and increase their wealth by being included in the prestigious Forbes 2025 list.
1. Rinat Akhmetov - $7.9 billion (390th place). The richest Ukrainian, owner of System Capital Management, actively invests in energy, metallurgy and telecommunications.
2. Victor Pinchuk - $3.2 billion (1141st place). Founder of the EastOne Group and philanthropist, active in the media, pipe industry and charity.
3. Petro Poroshenko - $1.8 billion (1947th place). The fifth president of Ukraine, owner of Roshen Corporation and active politician.
4. Andriy Verevsky - $1.4 billion (2356th place). Chairman of the Board of the agricultural company Kernel, one of the key players in the global agricultural market.
5. Vadym Novynskyi - $1.2 billion (2623rd place). Former member of parliament associated with the metallurgical business.
6. Konstantin Zhevago - $1.2 billion (2623rd place). Owner of Ferrexpo, a company specializing in iron ore mining.
These entrepreneurs not only represent the country's economic elite, but also leave a significant mark on global business.
