The new format of the MMC will be used: The Ministry of Defence has completed one of the reforms of military medical commissions

Since 1 April, Ukraine has seen some changes for people liable for military service. They are related to the military medical examination. Find out what innovations have come into effect since the beginning of the month
Defence Minister Rustem Umerov announced the completion of the first stage of the reform of military medical commissions. The first changes came into force on 1 April. Here's what it means for people liable for military service.
Military Medical Commissions for persons liable for military service: new rules
The following will change for persons liable for military service:
▪️ the conclusions of the MCC are created online - without bureaucracy;
▪️ information is automatically entered into the Oberig register;
▪️ data on suitability or unfitness and the date of the VVK are displayed faster in the Reserve+ application;
▪️ there is no longer a need to personally bring documents to the TCC.
According to the Minister, the Ministry of Defence has been preparing the system for launch since 1 March. In particular, the staff of the TCC was trained and registered in the electronic cabinet. Teams from Dnipro, Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Lviv and Khmelnytskyi regions were actively involved in the transition.

What other changes are planned?
Umerov notes that the reform of the military registration and enlistment office is part of a larger transformation that the Ministry of Defence is implementing jointly with the Ministry of Health, the General Staff of the Armed Forces and international partners.
In January, the Ministry of Defence launched electronic referrals to the MCC in the Reserve+ app.
The next stage of the reform of the MCC will last until autumn and will provide an opportunity for persons liable for military service to undergo a medical examination at any healthcare facility, Deputy Minister of Defence for Digitalisation Kateryna Chornohorenko said during a telethon, Ukrinform reports.
According to her, in this way, persons liable for military service will also be able to obtain data for administrative detention.
‘This will significantly reduce corruption and provide a convenient service for citizens.’
To recap! The Reserve+ application has become an important tool for citizens subject to mobilisation, but many face unexpected marks of violation of military registration rules. This can lead to fines and other consequences. We explained what this mark means and what to do if you face a similar problem.
